.::The Idol turns 24::.

Yesterday i was just to bummed to blog. Went to town straight aft school. Shagged to the bones after dat. I wanted so much to blog last night coz i havent blogged for 3 days and also i want to especially say...

Happy 24th Birthday to Our First Singapore Idol, Taufik Batisah!

There was a charity show, 'Ikhlas' on Suria last night at 8.30pm and Taufik made a special appearance there! For a few moments when it was time for Taufik to appear, the show almost turned into a Singapore Idol encore. Havoc swept throughout the whole studio..haha, sounds like as if i was there myself..naw, i was enjoying the show at the comfort of my own home. He sang my favourite number, 'Belaian Jiwa' by Innuendo, the one he did during the Asian Pop Spectacular. But that was a much more polished performance, i guess if Florence Lian was watching him perform that song last night she would really have cried. Haha.

"Saya mau nangis ah.."
-Florence Lian on judging Taufik on his Asian Pop Spectacular song Belaian Jiwa.

After a few cues, Taufik came out again to do his Final Showdown number 'I Dream'. I was 'dreaming' away on the couch bcoz i fell asleep. But i woke up soon's i heard his beautiful voice. Ohhhh, my idol...ehem...erm...ok where was i...ouh okay. So since it was his birthday, some kind fans went up to stage while he was performing to give him gifts and flowers and hugs and kisses! Aargh! Then got one makcik oso ah, she hug and kiss him leh. Wahliaoweh tak maintain sey makcik! Oklah Taufik didn't seem used to that kind of treatment yet. Fans going up on stage giving him gifts, flowers, hugs and kisses and all. But after the performance he said thank you for all the bdae prezzies and kindly told the audience "the best birthday gift u cd give me is to donate generously to charity". Ohhhh, my idol...

Ok that's all about Taufik. Now let me blog about me.

I've been fickle-minded sinz Thursday. I guess i must be tired. To be starting school term again. And i learnt a very important lesson yesterday while out in town wif Siti: "Never shop or buy anything when i'm feeling fickle." I make sure i don't in the future. But lucky enough for me, i didn't purchase anything yesterday except for a McColosso ice cream from McDonald's which i have been craving for since the past two months. I went into Mango, Zara and Topshop (standard ah, gi town kalau tk masok ni tiga tak sah) and picked up a few tops, tried them on and all and couldn't decide whether i really liked them or to buy them at all. I could try them twenty times and still not be able to make a sound decision abt a simple top! That is one deadly disease i get which i havent found a remedy for yet. Oh wells, all i can do now is wait for it to go away. I hope it goes away soon coz i really wana go shopping while the X'mas sales is still on.

So it's the first Saturday of my first week of school. Yes, Saturday means a whole day of staying home. I've been planning to stay home this Saturday coz i haf to finish my report. Bummer. So i'll try to be a good girl today and stick to plans.
